    This land was gained by a dispute between Mexico and the US and we eventually ended up getting it.We got 389,166 square miles of land. No money was involved.

  • Mexican Cession

    Purchase from Mexico following a war, in whic America won. We bought the land for 15 million dollars plus 3.25 million for assumed claims. The date is correct in years, but there wasn't a recorded exact date.

  • Gadsden Purchase

    We also got this land from Mexico, yet there was no negative interactions. We paid 10 million dollars for the 29,670 square miles that was received.
