It's amazing how much of my technology use was influenced by my love of pop music. I liked to listen to CDs of mixes my parents helped me make. I was in about 3rd or 4th grade. -

I had a school assigned e-mail address. This soon became the primary way I would communicate with my friends. -
First iPod
I got a 1st Generation iPod Shuffle for Christmas when I was in middle school. -
First Cell Phone
My mom thought I was too young at age almost-14. But after my mom and I had a miscommunication about who was supposed to pick me up from school, I suddenly was granted access to one. -
Began Using a Flash Drive
Previous to this point, I would either have to return to the computer I had started the project on or I would have to permanently burn it to a CD. This offered portability and saved CDs. -
Death of the Overhead
My school district began regularly to use digital projectors. Up until this point teachers would primarily use television sets and overhead projectors. -

I got a ChromeBook for school. This is the first time I've had my own computer and I've had a fun time with it.
