Robert E. Kahn and Vint Cerf invented the internet and let it go public on this date. The internet was devolped and launched with the help of Tim Berners-Lee as well.
The internet has changed how we search for things, learn, communicate an do basically everything in our lives. Not a day goes by that we do not use the internet in one way or another in our lives. -
SMS Text Messaging
The first SMS text message was sent on December 3rd, 1992 by Neil Papworth. Text messaging has changed the way we communicate. It helps us to communicate discretely, effectively, and quickly. We still use it to this day, in all parts of our lives (work, school, home, family, etc.). -

Bill Gates and Paul Allen took Windows 95 to the consumer market on August 24, 1995. Windows is a software operating system that is used on about 50% of computers today. It helps us have more things available to us and in a way that is easier to use. Windows 95 was the start of what we have today, and has shaped the way we use all modern technology. -

Jeff Hawkins, Donna Dubinsky, and Ed Colligan were the inventors of the Pilot Handheld-Mobile Device. The original purpose was for writing handwriting recognition software, as well as personal information management software.
It was the first PDA that was basically a very minimal version of the modern-day smartphone. It started a series of innovations that lead up to what we have today. -
Google Was Invented
Larry Page and Sergey Brin created and launched Google on September 4th 1998.
Google is a search engine that we use every day. It is the most well known and most used search engine available today. It has very heavily impacted all of our lives in every way. Today it helps us to find information, browse the web, shop, and do basically anything we want to do nowadays.
