    Growth Mindset and School Climate in the Era of Digital Natives

    Continue to support our PBIS initiative and social skills techniques through observations, data analysis, and professional development that assists school site personnel in serving all students equitably while maintaining positive environments. Imbed neuroscience and explain the "why" of some of the social behaviors of our digital natives and how to best build and sustain relationships with them.

    Constant Communication with Designated Students

    California's Foster Youth Education Task Force
    Using the findings of the CFYETF, create tools for communicating with FY through their 1:1 devices so they understand their rights and can begin to advocate for themselves.

    Changing Learning Environments

    Through data analysis, begin to create alternative learning environments within the traditional school system. Opening doors and windows so that through flipped classrooms, students can choose to sit at a desk or on the floor outside the room or at a lunchtable visible from the classroom. The Digital Gateway will allow for this.
