Fray Marcos and Estavanico's Journey
The purpose of there journey was to find the seven cities of Cibola. Estaban went ahead of the party and was killed by the Zuni tribe. Fray Marcos reported that he saw the seven cities of Cibola from a distance but it seemed like the same size as Mexico City. -

DeSeto was the original leader. DeSoto dies of a fever bye the Mississippi River so they threw him into the river. They discovered the Mississippi River. -

Coranado's Expedition
Coranado searched for The 7 Cities of Cibola and Quivera. His second guide was Turk and Coranado made Turk dig a hole for his grave. Coranado discoverd Palo Duro Canyon and Grand Canyon. It was important because it made the Spaniards not go back to Texas.
