Cortes copnquered the Aztec empire during his journey. The Aztec empire streched thorugh Mexico. This event is very improtant because Cortes managed to get 99 tons of gold, which made other explorers hunt for gold in Texas. -

De Vaca crashed on Galveston and was found by Native Americans where he later became a medicine man and gained fame. The only reason why he lived for so long is because he was a medicine man. -

His leader was De Soto and he died at the Mississippi river. The reason why he is important is because he discovered the river. -

Fray Marcos and Esteban's journey
Their expedtion's purpose was to study the land in the north. They wanted to find the seven cities of gold, but if they didnt find it then they would be viewed as failures. Esteban was murdered by native americans for demanding things for being a medicine man. -

Coronado was searching for the seven cities of gold after Frafr Marcos proclaimed that he saw it.
