Public Law 99-457
An amendment to the All Handicapped Children Act. Required individual states to provide services to families of children born with disabilities from the time they are born instead of once they reach 3 years of age. -

Parents are now able to become more involved in their child's IEP or Individualized Education Plan. This is a plan that ensures students receive the specialized instruction that they need. -

My Mary Kay Journey
I started my own Mary Kay business when we were sent home from school for COVID-19. What started as a leap of faith and something to fill my time, became the most fulfilling job of teaching and helping people before I am even officially a teacher!
