  • T-ball

    T-ball
I was five, this is when I found my happy place. I entered the "softball world". I remember being at games in some of the hottest summers I've been through... Like ever. Even though the heat was ridiculous it was one of the best times of my life.
  • Machine pitch

This was a happy but sad and, scary time in my life. Happy because I was getting older and better. Sad because I was moving on and t-ball was no longer an option. Finally scary because at the time the pitching was scary to me it was a big and very intimidating, the wheel seemed to spin so fast.
  • Team switch

I was unaware that towards the end of the season the previous year I was being watched by competitive coaches, later on well in this time I was picked up by them and i had started my first competitive year with the pumas.
  • World Series

We did it the pumas made it to the 2014 world series! One of the most important games because if we wanted to win, duh, we had to beat the same team twice, we were in the loser's bracket so ya. We already won once and if we’re being honest they were cheating and had a 12u pitcher with the coolest change up I’d ever seen but anyways, it was tied the whole 2nd game until we found hole and put some runs up. All we had to do at this point was hold them. Long story short I had the game winning catch!
  • 10u

Last season being my last year of machine pitch, the pumas skipped coach pitch and went straight to 10u. It was a little scary because at first we were playing 2nd year team but we could barely pitch! we had to play a lot of bigger girl and it was FREEZING outside but we managed to pull it through and win. This was also a great season because my dad said that, if I got 100 stolen bases I would get 100 dollars. well at the very end of the season I had exactly 100 stolen bases!
  • Team switch

Well you're probably thinking that I switch teams too much but not really. I’ve been on 4 teams. After the world series, I was done with the pumas all because of Tom, a stupid coach that no longer part of that team. I was now a part of team power in my last year of 10u.
  • Oklahoma

There has been multiple trips. With that there's multiple hotels. We always look at the hotel website before we book it (duh) but I guess this was a new one and this time I didn't get to look ate the website beforehand every time I would ask the response was always "you'll see." Or "just wait.". Long story short there was sooo many memories made there and it was the nicest hotel I'd ever stayed at, it was totally worth the wait!
  • Moving on

It's was a complete season of losses, drama, and finding out who's true to you. There was word spreading that Trent, one of the coaches, was starting a new team with 4 or more core girls from this team. It was a little hard but not even close to losing your main friends from your "forever " softball friends and the whole team, I was now on the stealth.
  • A ball losses

It was a TOUGH season, us being a start up team registered for A ball. The season was hot and cold, practice only got harder, our coach promising we would get better by the end of the year. He said the losing train would slow down and we could jump off at the right time, but that never happened. As the long, drawn out season continued, sketchy hotels, and long drives just to lose, nationals in Iowa were creeping up on us.
  • Nationals

Well it was that time, nationals. We hadn't gotten of the losing train and we knew we had to get off as soon as possible but it was scary to jump for some of us and we had to jump together. We were there, pin trading, and small talk began in Des Moines Iowa. We had games tomorrow and we hadn't jumped, and just like that we ran out of time. By the time it was all over we were tired, weak, hungry, and ready to go home. The season was over now and that's pretty much it for me and this team.
