The World welcomes Shaina!
I was born into a big loving and supportive family. My family has been there for me since the day I was born. Their words of encouragement has helped me to get to where I am today. Their support means a lot to me, I wouldn't have accomplished everything today, if it wasn't for their words of encouragement. When I stumble, they are always there to pick me back up. My family's love and support is what keeps me going. -

We welcome Brandon!
I am blessed with a little brother. Although my brother never had the chance to meet our dad, he is the greatest thing that has happened to me. Brandon is my other half, we think a lot alike. He is my motivation, he keeps me going. As an older sister, I want to be the best role model and set good examples for him. As we grow older, we understand each other more and we support each other through everything. -

Kinaalda (Puberty Cermony)
Being Navajo, in our culture both girls and boys have puberty cermonies. My Kinaalada took place at my step-father, at the time, ranch. I was brought up knowing about our Navajo traditions, I never learned how to speak my language, but I have respect for where I come from and our traditional values. Going through this experience has made me the person I am today. I am grateful that my family has supported me during this time, I felt their love and support. -
Nadine joins the family!
The last addition to our family. Nadine is the youngest of us four, she is remarkable! I love how she carries herself, she is not afraid to be herself, her love for animals is amazing. They come to me for anything and I amd truely thankful. -

Throguhout high school, I met the most incredible people, my friends. This is where it all started, where I met my lifelong friends. My friends have been with me since freshman year, we all support one another. I couldn't ask for better friends. To this day, we still remain close and I love them like family. -

I'm excited to finish the following semesters here at ASU and receive my bacholors degree.
