Christopher Columbus Finds America
Christopher Columbus tried to find a faster way to Asia but ended up landing in America. If Christopher Columbus didn't find the Americas then America may never of been discovered. -
Jamestown Was Founded
Jamestown was the first permanent settlement by England. Without this settlement another country could have settled first taking control and changing our religion and way of life. -
Pilgrims Come to America
The pilgrims came to America for freedom to use their religion. If the pilgrims didn't come to America we might not have the same religion and we wouldn't celebrate Thanksgiving. -
Start of Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution was a time when factories were made and people moved into cities for jobs. Many machines were invented during this time. If the Industrial Revolution didn't happen products would be made slower and at a higher price. -
The French and Indian War
The French and their indian allies fought England over America. If the war never happened then the U.S.A. Could be partly owned by the French and partly owned by England. -
Revolutionary War Starts
The Revolutionary War was when the colonists rebelled against Great Britain because of taxes. Without the Revolutionary War we would still be under Great Britains rule and wouldn't have as much freedom. -

France sold land from the Mississippi to the Rocky Mountains to the U.S.A. for $.03 an acre. Without this sale The U.S.A. would be much smaller andwe would have less states. -
