The first crowned Czar or supreme ruler in Russia. Due to his poor leading, he caused many foreign countries to attack him and for the economy to decline. Also, his mental state caused his outburst of rage and paranoia that got worse over time. -
Peter I “The Great”
One of Peters's goals was to modernize Russia. He had many feats like building a stronger military, grew the territory, and created trade partners with Europe. Founded the City of Saint Petersburg. -
Czar Alexander II
Created emancipation of Russia's serfs in 1861, one of his biggest feats. He was also the king of Poland and the grand duke of Finland. He was the Czar of Russia from 1855 up until he was assassinated in 1881. -
Vladimir Lenin
Lenin led a revolutionary group beliving in communism called the Bolsheviks. He was the head of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 years and the head of the Soviet Union for 2 years. He organized the deaths of over 140k people, especially middle class people. -
Joseph Stalin
Joseph governed Russia from 1922 to 1955. He killed anyone who disagreed with the policies he made. He killed over 20 million Russians from hunger and murder and is known for also defeating Hitler.
