The Second Fight
Another fight between the Montagues and Capulets leads to Tybalt killing Mercutio and then Romeo killing Tybalt for killing Mercutio. -
Romeo is Exiled
The Prince exiles Romeo for killing Tybalt. "And for that offense, Immediately we do exile him hence." -
Marriage Talks
The Capulets want Juliet to marry Paris to try to cheer her up because of Tybalt's death. -
Wedding Date Moved
The Capulets move the wedding date from Thursday to Wednesday. -
Juliet Takes the Potion
Juliet takes a potion to make it look like she is dead so she does not have to marry Paris and so Romeo can come get her. "Romeo, Romeo, Romeo! Here's drink. I drink to thee!" -
Juliet is "Dead"
After Juliet takes the potion, she appears to be dead so that Romeo can come to the Capulet vault and get her. -
Romeo Goes to Capulet Vault
Romeo receives news of Juliet's "death" and gets freaked out. He buys a poison and goes to the Capulet vault to kill himself by Juliet's side. -
Death at the Vault
Romeo kills himself thinking Juliet is dead, but Juliet wakes up a few minutes after he dies. She then kills herself and a watchman notices dead bodies. He notifies the Prince and the families. When they all get to the vault the Prince says that the children's deaths have ended the feud between the familes.
