Fight to the Death!
Tybalt and Mercutio meet in the street, and begin to fight. Romeo interfears, and Tybalt slays Mercutio under Romeo's arm. Romeo is upset over Mercutio's death. Although Tybalt is Juliet's cousin, and Romeo does not initally want to fight him, Romeo feels that he must avenge Mercutio's death and kills Tybalt. Romeo flees to Friar Lawrence, and the Princes arrives at the scene of the fight. He banishes Romeo for killing Tybalt. -

Romeo finds out he is banished, and Friar Lawrence tells him that me must go to Mantua. He is very upset about leaving Juliet behind. He goes to her orchard once again to tell him about the fight and his banishment. -

After Tybalt's death, Lord Capulet decides that Juliet must marry Paris in 3 days. Juliet is upset, and she goes to see Friar Lawrence -

Help from Friar Lawrence
With help from Friar Lawrence, Juliet comes up with a plan to get out of her marriage to Paris and go with Romeo to Mantua. He gives her a potion that will make her act like dead for two days, and as custom, her parents will put her in her family's tomb where Romeo will come and get her when she awakes. Friar Lawrence will wright a letter to Romeo telling him of their plan. -

Juliet arrives back at her house and tells her father that after speaking to Friar Lawrence, she will marry Paris. Her father is so excited he moves the wedding up a day! Now Juliet will take the potion earlier than planed. -

Juliet is found "dead" by her nurse on the morning of her wedding. -

Romeo, she is dead
Friar John is unable to deliver the letter to Romeo, so he does not know of the plan. Balthasar hears of Juliet's death and rushes to tell Romeo about it. Romeo thinks unratinally and buys a posion from an apothocary on the way back to Verona so that he can join her in death. -

Fight inside the tomb
Paris goes to lay flowers next to Juliet in her tomb, and instructs his page to whistle if anyone is to enter the tomb.The page soon whistle and Paris hides, ready to fight anyone who enters his beloved's tomb Romeo rushes in, and Paris jumps up, reconginizing him as an enemy to the family and want to fight him. They fight and Romeo wins, respecting Paris' last wish to be laided to rest beside Juliet. With a kiss, Romeo takes the posion and dies -

Families find out
Lord and Lady Capulet, along with Lord Montegue, Friars John and Lawrence, Balthasar, and many gaurds rush into the tomb to find the dead bodies of Paris, Romeo, and Juliet. Then Lord Montegue annouces that Lady Montegue had killed herself because of Romeo's banishment. Friar Lawrence tells both families about the marriage and what had gone on. After finding out about their children's love, they agree to end the fued in honor of their children. -
