Stamp Act
i found the datethis information helped me
in 1776 colonial newspapers ,legas documents , and maby other material needed stamps to show that their taxes was paid. mostly all of the colonied did not agreewith the Stamp Act. the only reason why the British has been taxted was because their representatives didnt show up to a meeting. -
Stamp Act repealed
in december over 200 Boston merchants refused to pay taxes. -
Decloration Act Passed
the decloration right act passed after the British colonie got right to make laws binding on the colonies. -
Boston Massacre
In 1770 there were many nothappy colonists . those colonists began to call themself patriots. one night the britush soldiers were led to a fight . they fires into a group ofcolonists armed with bats,snow ,and etc. 5 colonies were all killed in thid event we call the "Boston Masacre". -
Boston Tea Party
patriots took Brithish merchant ships and dumped 342 chests of tea overbard. oh my that is a lots of tea and money that just got thrown out.since that happened parlament passed the "intolerable acts". the Bostin tea party event happened because of high taxes -
Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable Act was when the congress meet. -
Minutemen
about 700 British soldiers met a group of MINUTEMEN. Minutemen were young soldiers ready to assemble. these 700 Minutemen were in the battle Lextington and Concord. -
Common Sense
Thomas Paine published on of his best-sellers called "Common Sense." He made a pamphlet in every lanuguage to spread independence. -
