    this was a age of emotions started in the 1800's. these emotion took over everything. Every aspect of life was now based off of emotion. the ideals of the romantic thinkers were fully against the enlightenment. they found the past before the enlightenment was much more simple and better.
  • Haitian revolution

    one of the biggest slave rebellions in the western hemisphere and is widely celebrated among Haitians. this revolutions started 1791 and the Haitian people managed not only to get rid of the slavery in the country but also the french control. all this was inspired by to recent french revolution which hyped the people ultimately fighting back and resulting in freedom

    In July 5 1811,Society of Caracas had become independent and made the republic of Venezuela. Simon Bolivar's native Venezuela declared its independence from Spain in 1811. However the war was not as easy going there were a lot of bumps . Bolivar volunteer army of revolution suffered numerous defeats. Twice Bolivar had to go into exile.

    Spanish force nearby Chile and Peru still had a posed a threat. San Martin went to join with Higgins and with help of San Martin they had freed Chile. But in 1821 San Martin planned run out the remaining Spanish out of Lima but for him to complete this he would need to get a bigger and even stronger force. And so he joined with Bolivar and talked the problem when they met in Guayaquil. however they had many differences in povs so it took a while to get along.

    The Mexicans was no longer the great empire of the Aztecs as they once were. bu they had noticed something which was they were between both america and it was perfect to invade and it would be the center of power as it once was. thanks to Napoleon Bonaparte attacking Spain the soldiers were put into a panic and it was the perfect time to strike and out the land which Spain once controlled revolts happened and soon enough the Spanish gave in.

    the country now that we called Brazil was once a massive colony of the Portuguese their so called jewel. the entire thing that started this was napoleon attacking Portugal forcing the king and his son Pedro into the colony and soon enough his father left and he was left to rule bu that power was taken away by Portugal do to it still owning Brazil as a colony. Dom Pedro was favored among the people an they hated Portugal in full so they drove them out and crowned him king.

    the new Greek people desired freedom from the formidable ottoman empire. the movement was very random however effecting because the empire didn't know where the next strike would be and not only that the extreme gorilla tactics were a superior match for the well coordinated soldiers. in the thought of loss the Greeks where helped and allied by the Europeans mainly by France Britain and Russia which crushed the ottoman forces and their allies.

    the Italian people had longed desired a unified land which they can all walk as one entity in cultural basis along with political. this was also know as the Risorgimento meaning resurgence. the man who led this so called resurgence was Camillo DI Cavour. he was a aristocratic politician which he united Italy and under the crown of Sardinia

    the unification of Germany was all caused by napoleon which had defeated Prussia which than attracted the other German states to want power. through that the only solution was to unite. this was not easy considering many leaders died and many wars and battles were fought cause of Austria was never satisfied with the resolution Germany made until they had lost tremendously which than German leader Wilhelm 1 had finally unified Germany
