    The printing press was created in 1440 by Johannes Guttenberg. It was created to make books faster. Martin Luther used the printing press to print out many bibles to reform the church because there was something called indulgences. Indulgences are is a way to buy your way to heaven. Martin Luther reformed the church with his 95 theses (ideas). This invention impacts us today by letters on books faster.
