Q7. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

  • Mise En Scene - Between the two

    We were able to use different locations. We tried several until we found the right locations. Initially there was a bedroom scene but had to be removed due to lighting. We also used locations such as a charity shop, college, a estate and a bus stop. We used a variety to show difference of social class

  • Shot types - Between the two

    As we had previous experience using the camara and tripod we found it much easier to get the shots correct. Members of ourgroup took careful consideration the framing of shots. Also we tried to incorporate a variety of shots. Examples are mid-shots, panning and still shots.

  • Editing - Between the two

    As a group we found it much easier to edit in final cut pro, adding music from garageband and creating credits in motion. This is because we had previous practice through the pre-lim and were much able to complete editing in a short time.

  • Props - Between the two

    We used props to convey the different characters. This included a mobile phone, glasses, a eviction notice, hanbags and clothing that was stolen.
