    "Taxation without representation..."
    "Taxation without representation is tyranny" was said by James Otis, US politition in American Revolution 1725-1783. Britain tried to propose the idea of 'virtual representation', where the people aren't actually represented, but their best interest is 'taken into consideration.'     Stamp Act Passed
    The Stamp Act was a direct tax from British Pariliament on the British colonies of America. It required that many printed materials be printed on stamped paper produced in London, carrying an embossed revenue stamp. This helped Britain export more goods.
