The Parliament passed an Act know as Currency Act, that took back some control over trade. More accurately took control of the currency system. This is a perfect example of mercantilism seeing as they took control of the colonies trade to control them and tax them. -
The Stamp Act
Applied direct taxes to all of the citizens purchases. -

The parliament put in place rules that forced the colonies to pay for the british soliders housing. -

An act to help secure dependence from the king of Britian. -
The Townshend Revenue Act
Started to tax glass, oils, paints, paper, etc. to raise money for the colonies. -
Boston Non-Importation Agreement
Boston stopped importing stuff from Great Britian. -
The Boston Massacre
British Soliders massacred villagers and were taken to trial with their captian. Needless to say they were acquitted except for two who were charged with man slaughter. This a great and perfect example of Salutary Neglect. -
The Tea Act
The Finnal spark to launch the revolutionary act in Boston -
Boston Port Act
Great Britian cut off all sea trade routes to and from Boston. -
Second Continental Congress
Britian Soliders fired into the Boston crowd. -
Declaration of Independence
Delegates sign the Declaration of Independence! This gave them there freedom and is a great example of Virtual Representation.
