    At one month, baby lifts their head when on tummy. Baby responds to sound and stares at face. Babies coo and babble a lot. They gain general information through senses and prefer faces versus objects.

    Follows objects in perception and notices hand. Holds head up for short period of time. At 2 months, babies cries began to vary depending on their emotions. Makes eye contact and knows familiar voices.

    3 months old
    Recognizes face and scent.Holds head steady. At this time babies want campionship and some even like to be tickled. Knows familiar faces and can smiles and frown.

    Smiles and laughs. Coos when spoken to and can bear weight on legs. May cry when left alone because of attention seeking. 4 month olds should be able to make vowel-consonant combinations such as "ah-goo"

    Distingushes between colors, plays with hands and feet. A 5 month old baby, turns to familiar sounds and voices and is a alert for longer periods of time for up to two hours.

    Rolls over in both directions. Imitates sounds. At 6 months, your baby can reach out to play and tell the difference between family members and can distinguish between angry and friendly voices.

    Stands while holding onto something. Combines syllables. Nine month olds respond to "no" and their own name. They may also crawl around to look for parents. Looks for dropped objects.
  • 10 month old

    Waves goodbye, grabs objects with "pincer" grasp. Your baby may also enjoy playing sound games. May take objects in and out of containers.
  • 11 month old

    11 month old
    Says "mama" and "dada" to correct parent. Plays peek-a-boo. Plays patty cake. Spends time looking in mirror. Can point and identify objects in books

    1 year old
    Walks alond. Indicates wants with gestures. Shows specific likes and dislikes. Understands simple words and phrases like "Come to Mommy"
