This photo is my aunt and I, with my grandma in the back. We are moving into our first house in Lenexa, Kansas -
Uncle's Wedding
This is a photo taken while I was performing a dance at my uncle's wedding. It was really fun, since I got to do it with my sister. -
Love of Painting
This is when my love of painting first began. My aunt got me this cute clay butterfly that included different paints and a brush. -
13th Birthday
This birthday party was special because all of my friends were able to come and we had a great time. We were able to go to Tick Tock Escape Room and had fun trying to get out. It is very nostalgic for me. -
Hair Cut Short
This is when I cut my hair short after having it long for almost 6 years. It was so interesting to have my hair feel so light after years of it being down my back. and I still have my hair short to this day and I'm really glad that I cut it. -
High School Graduation
I'm nervous about my graduation, but excited to see my friends and family that will visit and come to my party. This is going to be a very fun celebration. -
Meet my Future Spouse
Hopefully, I will meet my future spouse sometime in college or if I decide to get my Master's. -
College Graduation
Although this is so far into the future, I'm excited to see what I will accomplish in college and celebrate all of it during my graduation ceremony and party. -
Master's Degree
If I don't become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, then I will get my Master's in Psychology. This will lead me on my path to becoming a therapist. -
My Wedding
Hopefully, I will have a wedding sometime in the future, though I'm not sure exactly when. Whenever this time comes around, I'm excited to start planning. -
What does your timeline tell you about yourself?
This timeline tells me that I am driven and have my life carefully thought out. However, I also know that I will be okay if things do not go exactly to plan. I can see that I want to become more educated past college, in order to become a psychologist. I think that my future will be full of interesting and unique events. -
How different would you be if you could have changed one or two events along your line?
I think that if I had never discovered my love of painting, my life would have been very dull. I would not have been as artistic as I could've been and probably wouldn't have reached my full potential. If I hadn't cut my hair short, I honestly don't think that I would be the person I am today because that's when I also started changing how I dressed and gained a different friend group. -
How flexible or fixed does your future seem to be?
My future is loosely fixed. I am fixed in the sense that I want to graduate from college for sure and definitely become a psychologist in some manner. However, the dates of meeting my future spouse and getting married are one hundred percent flexible. I don't think that it's healthy to create a timeline for yourself and push yourself to follow it exactly, because life isn't perfect, and you'll probably end up disappointed.
