    I moved to Canada a month before I turned 3. It was a big sacrifice for my parents as they're leaving their family just for me to have a brighter future.

    I went to school for the very first time in Kindergarten at St. Clement. I learnt English very fast and made multiple new friends. Sadly, only one still sticks with me today.

    I had my first ever sacrament that I had to learn and work on. I felt closer to God because I reflected on the things I’ve done that’s wrong.

    My parents and I went to the Philippines. This was the first time I got to see my family and make memories with them.

    I had my first eucharist after waiting so long to eat the bread and wonder what it tastes like.

    My sister, Elyza was born. It made me feel closer to God because I prayed for a baby brother since I was 6. I didn’t get a brother but I did get a sister that can make me happy.

    Grade 5 exhibition made me realize I am capable of helping people and making them feel welcome. It made me feel like I made an impact on people.

    I decided to continue my faith and confirm it. I felt closer to God during the meetings as we read the youcat and we learnt a lot.

    The first year of junior high made me realize that life is hard as you get older. You get more responsibilities and people expect more from you because of your age.

    The Corona lockdown impacted my mental health a lot. I wasn’t able to see my friends and met people that affected my life positively and negatively. It made me get to the lowest point in my life.
  • Grade 8 Honors -1

    Grade 8 Honors -1
    When they were giving out honors, I wasn’t announced and I was devastated. I met the description to get honors but I was confused on why I didn’t get one. I did end up getting one but it was also very sad for me.
