The Signing Of The Treaty Of Versailles
World War I officially ended with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles . Negotiated among the Allied powers with little participation by Germany,reassigned German boundaries and assigned liability for reparations. After strict enforcement for five years, the French assented to the modification of important provisions. Germany agreed to pay reparations under the plan, but those plans were cancelled. Hitler’s rise to power and subsequent actions rendered moot the remaining terms of the treaty. -

This time period was happy the great war ended and the soldiers came home to there family's,but this happiness slowly vanished when fathers and sons got fired from their job.There simply wasn't enough money to go around.And then we have the second world war,or the rise of the Nazi's.This is when Hitler tries to kill all of those Jewish people in Poland. Was not a happy time. -
Joseph Stalin Becomes Leader Of The Soviet Union
Under Stalin,the Soviet Union grew into a world power in the 1930's.By 1937,oil production doubled and coal and steel production quadrupled.Soviets living in major cities and production centers saw improvements in life as they know it.Most Soviets lived on farms and didn't have enough food for them self and 6 million people died.As a result to this he said that they didn't believe in his ideas and this was there punishment. -

The postwar sending boom made the American economy one of the strongest in the world.But not everyone experience a boom of wealth in the 1920's.Factory workers were paid very low wages.Though the factories were producing a large amount of goods.The workers couldn't even buy them.And then at the end of the 1920's people began to worry about the State.On October 29 1929 the New York stock exchange had the biggest selling in history,This is known as "Black Tuesday".
