    ROM was made to keep software originally on the computer, which allows the computer to boot up and have the software it needs to be able to work.
    ROM was made in 1956 by James Russell.
    It affected the PC-Evolution by letting computers work and boot up to start with. It also affected society because a lot of jobs use computers and without ROM, computers wouldn't even work.

    RAM is a device that allows people store and retrieve information into a computer.
    RAM was first made in 1967 in IBM by Robert Dennard.
    The purpose RAM was made was to store data in computers and other electronic devices.
    The way this evolved the computer was that it gave more to a computer by enabling it to store data and other things into computer.
    The way it changed society was that it allowed devices we use everyday, like mobile phones, be usable.

    Made in 1982 by Commodore Business Machines at their company site.
    CBM wanted to create a 64 kilobyte home computer for show at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show.
    How it was a change to the evolution of PC's is that it was really easy to use to write programs. How it changed society was that it became easier for people to do things on a computer.

    This is a portable sub-notebook personal computer.
    Was released on October 21 of 1991, and created by Apple.
    PowerBook 100 was made because Apple wanted to increase the market share by lowering prices and releasing new "hit" products.
    It helped the PC Evolution because it showed them the bad and good stuff in the computer. It effected society by giving them a good personal computer than is portable and good to use.
