Birth
Pablo Picasso was born in 25 October 1881 in Malaga but his adult life was in France. He was the first child of José Ruiz Blasco and María Picasso López. Picasso’s father was a painting teacher of San Telmo (a Málaga school). He had two sisters: Maria Dolores Ruy Picasso and Conchita Picasso. He grew up on differents countries. -
Yellow picador
In 1889, when he was 8, after a bullfight and under the guidance of his father, he paint his first paint in oil; The little yellow picador, he never separated of this paint. In this paint we see three persons after a bar. Two mans are looking the sky and a profile with a woman, she’s looking at left and se have all the face white. The principal character is a picador. -
Coruña
In 1891 returns with his family to Corunna, in this town his father do a job; teacher of the academy of fine arts. The academy of fine arts opened in 1752, the most important works in the academy are to different countries; spain, italy and flamingo. For example: the dream of the gentleman, the burial of the sardine… And Science and Charity of Picasso. -
Barcelona Museum
In 1896, in the Barcelona Museum, inaugurated a paint. In this work he paint in the same year different pictures of his father. In all this pictures we look a big effort to capt the essence to the human. This is the work most spontaneous. He represented in the picture a deciding pas and more different to the firsts works in Coruña. -

Science and Charity
In 1897 he did with 15 years the painting: Science and Charity. It’s an oil painting. Now it’s on the Museu Picasso in Barcelona and it’s part of the permanent collection. The Museu Picasso did a small temporary exhibition based in the study of Science and Charity. It’s one of the most representative works that he did when he was a child. -
Barcelona
In 1898 he came back to Barcelona, because he was ill and he went to a village friend: Horta de Sant Joan. on this village he did friends like Carles Casagemas, Jaume Sabartés and Ramon Casas. The misery of Barcelona, the ill and wounded soldiers did that Picasso had more sensibility like it can appreciate on paintings that he do from 1897 to 1901. -
Paris
In 1900 he came to Paris. in Paris he did friends like André Breton,Max Jacob, Guillaume Apollinaire, Henri Matisse i Gertrude Stein. He started to did expositions. When he was in Paris his friend Carles Casagemas suicided for love and some people said that this event did that Picasso started his Blue periody. -
Wedding
On the First World War he met Olga Koklova, they fell in love and got married in 1918. They had a son: Paolo. When Paolo was born the relationship of Olga and Picasso went worse and Picasso started a relationship with Marie-Thérèse Walter for a short time and they had a daughter. And Olga’s friend said it to she and she want the divorce but Picasso didn’t accepted and they went married until Olga died. Olga and Picasso had three childs. -
Death
Picasso died in 1973 on Nôtre-Dame-de-Vie, Mougins, France, with 91 years old, because he had a flu. He was one of the most important painters of the XX centenary. Nowadays he has a lot of tributes in all de world. He was and is very important and famous. A lot of people still buying paintings of him.
