    people use to use paper maps to find their way to a destination. now we use gps's and our phones to figure out where we want to go. they have been used for so long and stopped using them when they invented phones and gps's.

    this was the first ever oven that they used to make food and was very useful back in the 1400's until the 1800's. now they have remodeled it and is a better product. nowadays they don't use the old models of the oven.

    when their weren't mobile phones they had payphones all around so that if you had to make a call you could. this item was made in 1889 and was very popular until they created mobile phones around 2007.

    because we didn't have emails we use to get our bills in the mail. this method has been going on for a while but its slowly starting to be obsolete as we use email now.

    since their were no smartphones invented people would have landlines so that they could both call and receive calls. people started buying this item in 1945 just after world war II. after people started getting smartphones that they could carry not as many people bought or had landlines.

    people use to have fax machines that they would use to send messages or photos and more. now that we use phones we don't need fax machines to send messages. this item was popular in the 80's and slowly started to be less used because of phones and computers.

    people used to rent movies to watch and get memberships at places like blockbuster. now we have Netflix and Disney plus that we can watch movies on so theirs no need to rent one. places like blockbuster were most popular in 2004 and closed in 2014

    people would use the iPod Nano to listen to music. it wasn't really meant for texting and calling. this item was very popular in 2007 until 2010 until Apple came out with new phones.
