Auschwitz
Elie and his mother,father and sister got deported from where they lived in a truck that carried horses. This was the first camp Elie Wiesel went to during the holocaust. -
What happened in aushitz
There were many things that happened to elie and his father in auschutiz. a couple of ironic things were elie witnesing a small boy being hanged. also being served very few rations of food a day. Elie walked on his foot to much and made it swollen, he went to the hostpital and the doctor said there was a puss pocket and they had to cut it open.at the time elie was relying on god. -
How they traveled to Aschuitz
Elie Wisel got deported from hungary by a train for four days. When they arrived at ashuitz they went to a camp called buna. Elie and his father got seperated from his mother and his sister. Elie and his father then satyed in buna for eight months. -
Elies dad dies
Elies father died from dysentery.which is from exhaustion and starvation.He started to feel weak during the battan death marcha nd when arrived at buchenwald he passed away. -
Bataan death march
The bataan death march started january 19th.Elie and his father had to walk in the death march and elie had a unhealed wound.also the bataan death march lasted 10 days. elies father fell during the march and he said " i cant go on my son" and elie told him to keep walking a little bit longer.we are almost there. -
Burchenwald
Burchenwald was a concentration camp many jews went to along with elie wesiel and some of his family members.he suffered day and night cold rough nights and watched his father suffer.This happened at many different camps.also this camp was only ment for men.Women went to a different camp. -
Elie lost faith in god
Elie relyied on god until he went to burchenwald and relized god was not answering his prayers.and he started loosing his faith in god.when he was going threw rough times he felt that god was not there for him so he decided not to pray if god wont do anything for him anymore. -
How they traveled to buchenwald
Elie and his father travled to buchenwald by walking in the bataan death march. when they arrived, trucks took them to buchenwald.the trucks were in poor condition and had lvery itle space to move around.they had to fight for their food if there was any. -
Holoucoust ended
The holocoust ended in 1945 when World War two was about to end and when the allies forces deafeted germany and then took over. In 1945 the germans decided to let all the jewish prisoners go.
