He had just been accepted to college and knew that fighiting for what is right was more important than getting expelled or not. -

He always stayed true and realistic, showing PERSISTENCE AND REALISTIC by being 27 years in prision and coming out until the age of 71 -

The A.N.C. announces that it has ordered the immediate suspension of its guerrilla campaign against apartheid, which started in the early 1960s. Mandela shows to be a change master. There was a time for guerillas, but now its over and one has to accept this and change to keep progressing towards peace -

On his 80th birthday, Mr. Mandela marries Graça Machel. Proving how POSITIVE and HOPE-FILLED one can be. After 2 failed marriages, its not easy to believe in love once again. Nevertheless, he didnt give up and ended his life alongside a person that loved him back.
