Even though the Japanese had captured all the chines ports and industrial area they managed to resist. The Japanese army raped women and slaughtered citizens. By 1940 the japanese could not win the war and the chinese still couldnt claim back their land.

the United States dropped its first atomic bomb in the 2 cities that are considered to be japan's heart the city of Hiroshima killing 800,000 lives on august 6 and 3 days later in Nagasaki which killed 400,000 lives,to save American souls and for the Japanese to surrender. The dropping of the atomic bomb on Japan was marked as the end of WWII. Around 80,000 people died, and 35,000 were injured. At least another 60,000 would be dead by the end of the year from the effects of the atomic bomb.
