Fall Of Paris
Germany attacked France, and Britain supported France to resist and not give up. However, France gave up.Later,Italy entered the war on Germany’s side. Four days later, the French capital fell.The Government capitulated on 25 June, just seven weeks after the beginning of the invasion. The battle didn’t last long, for Germany effortlessly. The Bataan Death March was when the Japanese forced 76,000 captured Allied soldiers to march about 80 miles across the Bataan Peninsula. The march took place in April of 1942 during World War II. After bombing Pearl Harbor, Japan quickly began to take over much of Southeast Asia. Japanese defeated the U.S. and Filipino army on Bataan at the Battle of Bataan. Battle of Stalingrad
Hitler wanted to attack Russia and gain some land.Battle began with the German air force, bombing the Volga River and the then the city of Stalingrad.Soon the German army moved in and was able to take a large portion of the city. However, the Soviet troops were not ready to give up. Hitler was defeated because of the harsh winter and being attacked on two sides by Russia. It was a turning point Of Russia, with combined military and civilian casualties of nearly 2 million. -
Manhattan project
America started developing atomic weapons under the code name Manhattan Project. On December 28,1942 President Roosevelt approved the Manhattan Project. The first successful test was done at Alamogordo in July 1945. The Manhattan project made Japan surrender and it put an end for World War 2. US knew that Germany was challenging them to construct the atomic bombs. Also, it led US able to use it against Japan.

Operation Gomorrah
Germany bombed England resulting in the death of 167 british civilians. So on July 24, Britain aircrafts dropped 2300 tons of bombs on Hamburg.1500 Germans were killed.Britain only lost 12 out of 791 aircrafts. Britain continued attacking Hamburg until November. US sent aircrafts which attack to added more harm.

D-Day
General Eisenhower goes to Normandy to free France. Paris was freed on Aug 25. Then battle of the Bulge begins. Germany thought the allies would attack from Calais, so they went there, but they were actually in Normandy. They killed all the German soliders, pushing the Germans back to Berlin. The Soviet Union were on the other side. It led to the first allied victory against Germany.(notes). -
