My life -Kayleigh R

  • My birth!

    My birth!
I was born in Iowa, cedar rapids with 6 siblings. 2 older brothers and 4 older sisters. My twin sister Gabrie is 2 minutes older than me. (She likes to take her being older to her advantage 🙄). Gabrie was clingy and I liked privacy. Our mom loves telling us stories about how only one of us could sleep at night while the other would cry. (I would only sleep after she was and mom or dad moved us away from each other.)
  • New sister!

    New sister!
My little sister Avamae was born. Ava is very clingy towards me and Gabrie. She is always around us and she got very annoying after a while.
  • New puppy!

We got a new puppy! Or she used to be a puppy... She is now seven or eight. She is our childhood dog. She is a mix of blue heeler and husky.
  • First day of school!

    First day of school!
On my first day of school I met a boy named Xander Petti and Shala. Shala played with me and talked to me everyday. She only didn't talk to me one day in the whole year. That day I cried and didn't talk to anyone.
  • She left

Shala moved I don't know where but she left. I barely said goodbye. I said a simple "See you next year." I barely thought about her during summer. I went back to my elementary school after summer. I looked around for her, no luck . After a few months I realized she had moved and forgot to tell me. It still haunts me that my first friend only stayed for a year. Me and Shala were closer than me and Gabrie even were.
  • My grandma (Dads side.)

My grandmother was kind but she never really visited her. I have one memory of her. She brought grape soda to the park and that was and still is my favorite drink. I drank most of it. She smoked and died because of it.
  • No more

I had an ear infection so I went to the doctors. The doctors said that something was wrong. They told my mom I had an autoimmune disorder called hashimoto's. This means I can no longer eat wheat. While the doctors were explaining this all I heard was HOME LUNCH! I had never had home lunch and I was super excited for it! Like the ¨smart¨ child I was I stopped eating gluten right away because I just wanted home lunch. If I knew it would affect the rest of my life I would do things differently.
  • A guy called Mr.Wolf and a girl called Mrs.B

Mrs.B was my fourth grade teacher. She would rotate us between classes with the other fourth grade teacher (Mr.Wolf), unlike all the other teachers. She would always tell stories about her years in school. I loved listening to them. During summer it scared me to know that she wasn't going to be my teacher anymore. Thankfully I got Mr.Wolf for fifth grade he loved telling stories to. I fell in love with the way they taught and their stories. So now I want to become an author and a teacher.
  • Lorie

    Lorie
My cousin Lorie had passed away from a car accident. Of course this made me go wild, even though we did just see her once each year during summer. The reason that this made me go crazy was because she had survived a tracheotomy, Lupus, and skin and thyroid cancer. She lived on a farm and took care of animals that were disabled. For example a half blind horse, a sick cow, and a three-legged dog.
