Adoption
My mom and dad adopted me as a baby. They both were at the hospital when I was born. My birth mother had chose them and wanted them there so my mom could be the first person to hold me. -
Moving to Arizona
We moved to Arizona from Washington in April 2000. My dad left Boeing and started a new job with Raytheon. My mom and dad moved to Washington from Phoenix, AZ, then we moved back to Arizona, but to Tucson. -
First day of kindergarten
Where we live, the schools are modified year round, so my first day of kindergarten was in July! I was excited to start school. My mom helped in the classroom with my older sister and always took me with and I couldn't wait to be an actual student. -
Joining cub scouts
I joined scouts while in kindergarten. I was a Tiger Scout and my leader was Ms. Debbie. When I moved up to Cub Scouts, my dad became my leader with Ms. Debbie. -
Earned Arrow of Light
Earning the "Arrow of Light" is the highest award a Cub Scout can get. I was very proud of all the work I did to earn this award. This was my last year in scouts. -
Visited Mount Rushmore
We took a family vacation in July of 2010. We took our fifth-wheel and had problems in Wyoming, but we loaded up our truck and continued on. Mount Rushmore was amazing. -
First day of high school
Starting high school was pretty intimidating. I had gone to the same small school from first grade through eight grade. My new high school was small and some of my friends also went there. -
Getting Baptized
I was baptized as a baby, but wanted to be re-baptized by full-immersion. I chose to do this along with my sisters when I was 15 years old. My dad is a leader at our church and he baptized us. We did it in our pool with all our friends around to help us celebrate. -
Drivers Permit
I finally got my drivers permit in July of 2014. I was really nervous. I was surprised I passed my test on the first try! -
Joing the Joint Technical Education District (JTED) program
In Tucson, we have a program call the Joint Technical Education District. You can join when you are a sophomore. There are a lot of different programs you can do, I chose the Multi-Media one.
