GROWING UP
I was born December 5th 1995, in Detroit Michigan. Since i was born towards the end of the year Gladwell would assume that i had a disadvantage in comparison to children born in the earlier months. Gladwell didnt consider that the cut-off date for Michigan is December 1st. So in realality i had an adavantage because i am older than most of my classmates and have always been the most experienced in my sports team since i was older. -

FINDING A SPORT
When i was around six or seven i started experimenting with different sports. I was pretty interested in baseball so i joined a team and began to put in a great amount of time to improve my game. Even though i put in many hours i didnt really notice any type of improvment. However, i did notice that some of my teamates had a greater improvement than i did.This made me believe that sucees in a sport is not only based on hours of practice but the innate ability that person has. -
SUMMER CAMP
When i was in middle school i attended a sumer program called DAPCEP.This was a program designed to teach young studetns advanced science and math skills durng the summer break. Better Opportunity
i was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. The school system was well below average, the enviroment was not suitable for a young child, and thier was no influence to guide me in the right direction. So at the age of nine my mother thought it was best to move to Grosse Pointe so i could have a better opportunity and enviroment. -
HIGH SCHOOL
My family was fortunate enough to have the funds needed to live in Grosse Pointe. Therefore i was able to attend a much better high school than i would have attended if i went to school in Detroit. At my highschool i was exposed to better teachers, a friendlier enviroment, and more resorces.
