Romania
In my second month of high school, I spend a few days in Romania. We worked in Gypsy villages and then spent our last days in Hungary. This shaped who I was to become my first year at Etowah and I think it was the greatest thing I oould do. -
Flash Mob
This isn't really something that changed me, but I was a part of America's largest flash mob. -
Cherokee
This was the day that I unenrolled at Etowah, and enrolled into Cherokee. I didn't think this would really affect me, but I ended up a horrible person as the sum of the people I allowed myself to associate with. I would like to say I regret this one semester I spent there, but I met my best friend, and we have been like brothers since. -
Orange Hair
Have you ever dyed your hair a crazy color just for the heck of it? Well i have, and I did it for a summer camp. I got a lot of stares. It isn't until now that i realize how dumb I was. -
Archery Team
This may have been one of the dumbest things I've done. I paid $200 to join the EHS archery club and quit a month later. This was my first unwise purchase with a large sum of money. -
Pink Out
The Etowah football team held a "pink out" to support breat cancer awareness. I decided to go "all out" and paint myself up. -
Christmas in Disney World
My parents wanted something a little different this year so we packed our bags and went to Disney World. It was definitely a weird experience. Of course, I had an amazing time other than my two sisters crying the entire time. Stitch is my favorite Disney character and i was amazed that I found him. -
Costa Rica
I spent 7 days in Costa Rica with people from my churhc. We served poor orphans and restored their building to a much better state. This trip changed me in many ways and it made me a different person. I learned more about myself as a person, and that I have a huge heart for helping people. -
MyLife
MyLife is a weekend retreat that my church holds each year for high school students. I went with this group of guys and developed bonds that will last for many years. I learned much wisdom on this trip and love that I decided to go.
