My Family Timeline

I was born

Mar 24, 2003

I was the first child in my family born in Spectrum Health hospital weighing 7lbs.

I walked for the first time

Dec 2, 2003

My parents caught it on camera when a was 10 months old I took my first steps.

Moved

2004

I had lived in Indiana for a year previously and my parents, me, and my younger brother moved to Byron Center.

Visit to Santa

2005

My mom took me and my little brother to go see Santa in the mall when I was 2 almost 3.

Birthday

2006

My mom let me have a bunch of friends over from my church for a 3-year-old birthday party.

School started

2007

I went to school for the first time and I can remember loving it so much and being happy to meet friends. I went to Triunity Christian school until I eventually moved to Byron Center schools for first grade.

Disney World

2008

I got to go to Disney World in Florida with my family and it was so much fun! My parents took me and my brother and we were able to eat lunch in Cinderellas castle, which not a lot of people do and I got to meet a bunch of the princesses.

Snow Fort

2009

There was so much snow outside this year and my dad made a huge snow fort in the snow with me, my brother, and some of our neighbor friends.

Hawaii trip

2010

I went to the Grand Walia hotel in Hawaii with my family for a new year's vacation.

Soccer

2011

I tried out upward basketball and soccer for the first time and really enjoyed it.

Gymnastics

2012

I went to for the Kids Gymnastics and did lessons there each week. The classes I took were trampoline and tumbling.

Hospital trip

2013

I was in the hospital for a cellulitis face infection. I had to get IV fluids to bring the swelling in my face down and the purple color that my cheeks were turning.

Cousins moved in

2014

My cousins moved with us in the summer for a couple of years and it was so much fun always having someone to hang with and have the time of your life with. I loved growing up with them and I wouldn't have changed anything.

Nationals for dance

2015

I made it to nationals with my two best friends Sophie and Ava for a program called fine arts for an urban dance troupe. We got to go to California and perform in front of judges and it was one of the best weeks ever!

Hangout with my friends

2016

I got to go to a hotel with my friends for a girls night and it had a waterpark there. I had so much fun and it was one of the most special days.

Outreach dance team

2017

I made the outreach dance travel team for my dance studio. I never even have tried out before and I was so excited to have made it my first year of trying out. I couldn't wait to be on this team with my friends and be able to perform in many different places. I was also given a solo for my turns which was so very exciting for me and I have always dreamed of this day.

Pointe

2018

I got surprised in the summer of 2018 saying that I had advanced to pointe! I was so excited to be trying something new, fun, and exciting out and I had worked so hard to get on it.

License

2019

I took my driver's test and passed, which I was so excited about. Me and my mom went right after to go to the secretary of state to get my license so I could drive by myself.
