We didn't own television, radio, or old phones when I was born (2005). I was 3 years old when my mother started reading me stories from books and teaching me primary education to prepare me for preschool. I remember that time when my grandfather is still reading newspapers to be aware of news in our country. -
Keypad Mobile
My mother have a keypad cellphone in 2008. It is a keypad installed on a push-button telephone or similar telecommunication device for dialing a telephone number. I remember I used it to play games. -
Television and Radio
In 2009, my mother bought a television and radio. These media provide news to people throughout the country so it is easy for us to receive news. I was so happy that time because I can watch cartoon movies on CDs on television as a 4 years old girl. -
Computer and Telephone
I started using a computer in 2010, my aunt taught me how to use it to play games to kill time whenever I'm bored. I was just 5 years old at that time but I have knowledge of how to use it. In this year, We also have a telephone for communication. -
Digital Camera
When I graduate from preschool, my parents bought a digital camera to capture our memories. Our family loves taking pictures so at this time I was exposed to how to use a digital camera. -
Tablet
My grandmother gave me a tablet as a gift for my 6th birthday. It was just an android tablet and I used it to play games also or watch movies that I want. -
Digital Games
Digital Games is an electronic game that involves interaction with a user interface or input device to generate visual feedback from a display device. I started playing games through the website Y8.com and also Friv.com. The games from these websites are very entertaining, it contains different types of games. -
Facebook and Youtube
My auntie created a Facebook account for me but I am still not sure how to use it properly since I am so young at that time. There are games like Tetris battle and Dragon city before on Facebook, I remember that I played those. I started using Youtube too at that time to watch random videos. -
Cellphone
In 2015, my parents gave me a cellphone as a gift for my 10th birthday. It was my first time owning a touchscreen cellphone so I was happy at that time. I used it for communication, entertainment, and to kill time. -
Dubsmash
Dubsmash was an ultimate trend that has rampantly gone viral across the Internet in 2015. I downloaded it out of curiosity and it was fun to use it. -
Social Media Apps
In 2016, I created my accounts on Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram. I started using a messenger too. Through social media apps, it was easy for me to interact with my family, friends, and other people. -
Wattpad (E-book)
As I grow up, I am interested in reading stories from books and I discovered the Wattpad app (an E-book). I downloaded it at this time and helps me improve my reading and writing skills effectively. Different genre of stories is in here and you don't need to buy or pay for them back then. -
Netflix and Viu
I like watching series and movies. Netflix and Viu are what I am using to watch K-dramas and random movies that year. Netflix is a subscription-based streaming service that allows members to watch TV shows and movies on an internet-connected device while Viu on the other hand, gives you instant access to all your favorite dramas, comedies, horror, and more. -
Laptop
When a pandemic arises, online learning has been implemented. My mother bought me my own laptop and I used it for online classes, editing, and doing online activities. -
Online Learning Platforms
During the pandemic, I also learned how to use Google Drive, Google classroom, and other forms of learning materials online. I know how to access it until now. Because of these platforms, we are still learning even though there is no face-to-face. -
Canva
I started using Canva in 2021, there are a lot of digital activities for schools since the pandemic until now. Canva is very simple to use and user-friendly. It helps me improve my editing skills. You can create and personalize your designs.
