First computer at college
My first encounnter with a computer at WVU. It was a Fortran that used punch cards. If I remember correctly it wrote programs with chaaracter based data. When I look back on t at it seemed really bizarre! Image from Wikipedia. -
First computer after college
My first computer after college was a Tandy from Radio Shack. This computer used cassette tapes to save files. I remember a cassette player beside the Tandy. The punch cards from the Fortran were different but t is seemed really interesting. Image from oldcomputers. net -
Back to college
After getting married and having children I decided to go back to school to g et my education degree. I took a basic computer class, and boy had t in changed from 1984 to 1997. I believe the computers we used were HP. I learned a lot from this class and have had a computer ever since. Image from Wikipedia. -
New computer at home
Since I was going back to school I needed a computer at home. It was a Gateway. The basic class I took helped some but I was pretty much was on my own, which I really enjoyed. however, the dial up internet was very annoying ! Image from Wikipedia. -
Teaching and using Technology
I was hired as a full time Library Media Specialist in Monongalia County Schools. I took with me all the knowledge I had about computers. It was a beginning , however, it is 2016 and I am still learning. I use technology in my classes and most of the time the students are teaching me new ways to use technology. Image from Forbes.com
