SAT/ACT & College Night
Either wrap up taking these tests or retake the tests! Don't forget to send these scores to your schools. Come see me if you would like extra help in preparing for them! College night is also in Septemember. This night is truly helpful to get information about colleges and the programs they have to offer! -
College Application Night
In the month of October, you should start preparing your applications.
- If you are interested in Scholarship/Honors Programs at certain schools please be familiar with their deadlines. Many of them have earlier deadlines than regular admissions.
- Need letters of recommendations? Continue to ask teachers/adminstrators/community leaders/coaches to write you one. I require a one week in advance notice! -
College Applications - Continued
Finish up testing and choose 3-5 schools to apply to! Start writing your essays and follow up with those teachers/community leaders/coaches to remind them about writing your recommendations. Make sure you have contacted me to send out the transcripts. Remember, request them 3 days in advance. -
Sending out transcripts
Please contact me three days in advance. Also, some schools may require that your recommendations are sent with transcripts. Be cautious of those details! -
Tying loose ends
Follow up to make sure all of your recommendations, test scores, and transcripts have been received. Finish up those essays and come to me if you need me to look over them! We are released for Christmas Break on December 20th, so try to have everything sent in by early December! Keep swimming, you are almost there!!!=D *** I will be out of the office December 4th-6th for a conference. Please come see me before then for any help *** -

Financial Aid is Important!!!!
The FAFSA was opened during the first week of January. The earlier you submit this, THE BETTER! Please come to me if you have any questions or if you would like me to sit down and talk with you and your family -
FAFSA Deadline
In order to be considered for Federal Aid, please have your application submitted by March 31st! -
Admissions Decisions
Most admissions decisions should be released late March - Early April! Yay!!!!! -
