Day - Problem
In the first day, the first steps that need to be taken is coming with a problem and that you see needs to be addressed. A way that you can collect your thoughts about the problem is doing a brainstorm. The problem we faced was deforestation and lack of trees from the bushfires. -
Day 2 - Cause
Once the problem has been chosen, you need to consider what causes the problem. This step will help you get to the root of the problem. By considering the causes it will help you to come up with a more accurate and valid solution. By using a root cause analysis tree, you can understand the problem and causes more clearly. -
Day 3 - Solution
The next step is coming up with a solution to your problem. You need to consider the causes and how it will affect your solution. You need to make sure your solution is reasonable, realistic and achievable. Considering the cost of the solution is also important, of the solution is to expensive and non- reasonably priced you are going to have trouble get funding or donations. -
Day 4 - Target market
You need to collect data about you target market by doing online surveys and social media polls. Consider their age, interests/hobbies, where they live, values, job and how much they are willing to spend on a product/service.
For our seed box, our target market is customers effected by the bushfires (VIC,QLD,NSW) and people living in the rural area. -
Day 5 - Refining target market
You think need to think about who your target market is and consider the results from the survey. This step is important because understanding your target market will help change or tweak the product or service to fit the target market, knowing you market will also help when it comes to advertising. -
Day 6 - Name
Coming up with a name for your product/service is the next step. Try a have a name that’s straight forward and draws people’s attention. -
Day 7 - Logo

Day 8 - Where the product is available
Think about where the product is going to be sold, whether that’s online or instore. -
Day 9 - Creating
Creating a demo of the product, a brochure or a presentation. -
Day 10 - Market validation
Conduct an interview or survey to see what people think of the product. -
Day 11 - Applying feedback
Go back to the drawing board and consider the feedback from the market validation. Tweak and edit product/service. -
Day 12 - Market validation
Once the changed have been made, from the feedback. Conduct an interview or survey again. -
Day 13 - Funding
If the second lot of feedback comeback with only positive thoughts. You need to consider where you are going to get you funding from whether that’s GoFundMe, a grant, donation or fund raising. You may want to set up a excel spreadsheet to analysis you cash inflow and outflow, by using financial statement. To know where your money is coming from and being spent. You will need to set up a bank account as well. -
Day 14 - Funding (Day 2)
If you are having trouble get funding from the 4 examples from the previous side, you may need to think about taking out a loan or considering whether you need to rethink you costs. -
Day 15 - Employees
Think about whether you need to hire some more staff as your business grows. -
Day 16 - Location
Choose a business location, where you want your product to be sold and made. For our seed box they are available online and instore. Our store in located in a rural area because that's where most of our target market is located. -
Day 17 - Suppliers
Contact suppliers for materials that you need for your service or product. Try a pick location suppliers as the materials will arrive faster and it helps the local community. For our seed box our gum tree supplier is https://www.alibaba.com/showroom/gum-tree-seed.html. -
Day 18 - Advertising
Meet with an advertising specialist to help you pick a slogan or ad that best suits your business. -
Day 19 - Promoting
Promote your product by your social media. Give sneak peaks of your product to draw consumers in. Using a celebrity to promote your product is also a great way to promote your business. -
Day 20 - Prototyping
Create a prototype -
Day 21 - Market validation
Conduct another market validation to see if customers like the location of the store, adverting, promoting and the protype.This is important because it’s the finally tick of approval before the mass production of the product. -
Day 22 - Apply
Add changes to the adverting or protype if the results of the market validation suggests so. -
Day 23 - Safety
your prototype and design need to be up to Australian safety standards. It needs to have a General Certificate Conformity issued. -
Day 24 - Collecting materials
Once your product is up to safety standards. You can begin by collect your materials. -
Day 25 - Mass production
Start mass production.You may need to hire more employees to supervisor the production of the product. -
Day 26 - Launch party prep
Organise a launch party. Invite additional investor and companies that might want to sell some of your product in their stores. -

Add banners and signs with bright colours to draw customers in. arrange product so its appealing to the eye. -
