    Ada lovelace and the First computer program
    Ada Lovelace, born in London was a Mathematician. Ada Lovelace wrote notes in about computer algorithm that more than 100 years later in 1953 was the base for the computers. In her notes which were labeled from A to G, G was the first known published algorithm. The algorithm was used to calculate bernoulli numbers which is why she is known as the first programmer. Her work was essential in the work of the man who created the first computers: Charlei Babbage whom she met.

    Alan Turing and the Enigma Machine
    Alan turing was one of the key people for the Allies to win the war. During the war, the Nazis sent coded messages using what's called the Enigma Machine. The Germans thought that the coded messages couldn't be encrypted. However, Alan Turing decoded the messages and in that moment the war was slowly turning. With his invention, the Allies could predict where the Nazis were on sea and land without them knowing. It's considered one of the most important technological inventions of all time.

    Douglas Engelbart was born in the US in 1925. During his time alive he invented a prototype for the computer mouse in 1963-64. This was an important discovery at the time because now non-technical people could use computers with the new mouse. He is best known for the computer mouse however he has made various of important changes to the computer.

    Steve Wozniak was born in California and he invented the first good personal computer. He invented what's called the apple 2 series which was the first computers functioning properly at home. Together with Steve Jobs, they created and sold the computer. Later, he and Steve jobs founded apple which is now one of the biggest computer brands. Apple products have impacted many people's lives and has most importantly made mass-production of computers possibly. Therefore you could now work from home.

    Tim Berners-Le is a computer scientist born in London who invented the Web. In the year 1989 he invented the web, and sooner he invented the web browser and much more. What is a common misconception is that he invented the internet which is not true. Instead he invented what we know as URL's, images, gifs, audios and search engines. This is why websites like Wikipedia and search engines like google could be created. With his work, the web look like it does and it has indirectly helped millions.
