First Day of High School
Starting high school showed me that the world was bigger than I thought it was, and that there are so many people out there who are different than me. At Easley High School I not only learned to accept people's differences, but I learned to embrace them. -
Hello, Emily
Emily Thompson has taught me so much, but most importantly, she taught me that you never give up on the people that you care about. -
First Younglife Club
After wanting to be a part of Younglife since I was 6 years old, I finally got to learn what Younglife was all about. After going to my first club I knew that Younglife was going to make high school four of the best years of my life. -

Sophomore Year
Tenth grade year was rather uneventful aside from the fact that this was the year that I actually started to grow up. My academic life stared to take off from here. High school got harder and I had to really learn how to study. Classes were harder and this time was when I discovered how much hard work pays off. -
Sharptop Cove
At Sharptop Cove during my 10th grade year, for the first time, I learned about who Jesus is and saw, firsthand, what He was doing in the lives of those around me. -
Windy Gap
Here I learned the importance of community and vulnerability with those around you. So much was learned from the girls that I shared a room with for seven days. -
YES
At Windy Gap I learned about the most important thing I've ever learned about - grace and how it applys to me. On this day, I said, "yes," to Jesus and learned that there was so much more purpose to my life than I ever thought that there was. -

Starting The CHILL
Starting the CHILL was such a journey; one that I am so glad I got to take. The CHILL taught me how to step out of my comfort zone and be a leader. I learned teamwork and respect for those around me which are skills I can use for the rest of my life. -
First Day of Junior Year
First semester junior year was the best season of my life. I had finally discovered who I was and found the best friends anyone could have. I was learning where I fit in in the world, and that is one of the best feelings ever. -
Changing My Mind
For the past 11 years, I had wanted to be a doctor. I was more sure of this than I was of anything. After taking a medical class at school, I was now 100% sure of something else: I did not want to be a doctor anymore. -
CHILL Christmas Weekend
CHILL Christmas Weekend was really the first time that I had ever seen teenagers having fun following Jesus. CCW was where I learned that I wanted to do ministry for the rest of my life. -
Leaving SC
Leaving home was absolutely heartbreaking, but I knew it would be a learning experience. Leaving taught me that home was not a physical place, but it is where your heart is. -
First Day at Verot
Starting a new school was one of the hardest things I have ever done, but through this experience I have learned to adapt to my environment and to be resilient to make the most out of my circumstances. -
Gauntlet X
Gauntlet was the best experience of my life. Here I learned that following Jesus is a daily battle, and that I have to fight the good fight every day. Gauntlet Video
