Day 1: Introduce Lección 7 (50 minutes)
Webpage with Lesson PlansAsk students what they think their life will be like after high school. Explain that this lesson will incorporate several different technology tools and that all resources will be posted on my teacher website. Students will draw images to represent the vocabulary on their visual dictionaries which will later be used to play Bingo. Pass out "Online Safety & Etiquette" and review with students. -

Lección 7 - El Futuro
We will spend 3 weeks on Lección 7. Students will be working online and in class to master the new content. -
Day 2: L7 Vocabulary Practice (90 minutes)
Students participate in games and complete various activities (including a wordsearch) to learn the new vocabulary which centers on professions and the world of work. -
Day 3: Vocabulary Practice Cont'd (90 minutes)
Students will continue to work with new vocabulary - inlcluding playing Bingo with their visual dictionary and completing listening activities connected with the textbook. -
Day 4: Vocab Practice & Future Tense Intro (50 minutes)
Class continues to work with new vocabulary related to professions/careers - including playing pictionary in small groups. Later we talk about the future tense and class completes a short guided practice activity. -
Day 5: Grammar Practice - Future Tense (90 minutes)
TitanPadStudents work collaboratively on future tense using the application TitanPad as well as other grammar activities. -
Day 6: Grammar Practice - Future Cont'd (90 minutes)
Students continue to work with the future tense. In addition to completing an independent practice about what the world will be like many years from now, they get to play a grammar-based version of Connect4. -
Day 7: Exam Review Day (50 minutes)
Students participate in various review activities in preparation of the unit exam the following day. Teacher addresses any misconceptions and answers final questions students might have. -
Day 8: Examen Lección 7 (90 minutes)
DescubreSupersiteStudents will complete an online test created by the published that covers the vocabulary learned as well as the future tense. The test also includes listening and reading comprehension. Once finished, students can work on their presentations. -
Day 9: Mi Futuro Presentations (90 minutes)
On the final day of the unit, students will present to the class about their own futures, thus answer our guiding question: What will your life be like after Paly?
