Walks sideways and backward, runs without falling often, walks up and down stairs with help, and responds rhythmically to music with whole body, they also loves to run, jump, and climb. -
19-21 months cognitive
Progresses from simple imitation to imaginative play, can remember familiar objects without seeing them, and can obtain familiar objects from different room when asked. -
22-24 months physical
Walks with more coordination and asurance, walks sideways and backward with ease, toddlers bounce and sway in simple dancing movements but lacks ability to start efficently or stop quickley while running.

Becomes interested in the outcome of activities rather than just the activities themselve, becomes interested in precise placement of objects, and enjoys foam boards and simple puzzles -
24-30 months physical
Improves motor skills as torso lengthens and baby fat begins to disapear, enjoys running but is unable to measure sudden stops and they may colide with other people or obstacles. -

Becomes increasingly interested in childrens tv shows, understands cause and effect in terms of own behavior, is better able to plan a play activity and carry it out -
30-36 congnitive
Begins to classify objects into general catigories. uses symbolic representation and make believe play. Trys at multiple roles in make believe play. Can remember and follow three step commands. -
30-36 physical
Likes to be in constant motion, running or walking sideways, or backwards. Enjoys games involving running. Goes upstairs by alternating feet but goes downstairs one foot at a time.
