    The spinning Jenny is a Mulit-spindle spinning frame, it was one of the key developments in the industrializations of textile manufacturing during the early industrial revolution. This invention was invented by James Hargreaves in Stanhill, Oswaldtwistle, Lancaster in England, There were rumors that this inventions was names after James Hargreaves daughter. This invention elevated the process of cotton spinning
  • Richard Arkwright

    Richard Arkwright
    Richard Arkwright was the first person to use the Watts steam engine to power textile machinery. By 1772 Arkwright developed mills, in which the whole process of yarn manufacturing was carried on by one machine. Soon later Arkwright was recognized as the father of the modern industrial factory system. Then in 1799, Samuel Crompton invents the Spinning Jenny, which was a cross between machines invented by Arkwrih and Hargreaves.

    During the industrial period factory owner would hire children to work for them. Factory owners wanted children since they were small they can do some task. Also, it was profitable for the factory owners to employ children than skilled adults, the factory owner made more money by purchasing orphans and paid them low wages for working for them. The conditions were really bad,, sometimes the children would fall in the machine for lack of sleep and get crushed.

    In the year 1833 in Great Britain, the Abolition Act was passed by parliament that abolished slavery in most of the British colonies. Because of this act more than 800,00 enslaved Africans in the Caribbean, South Africa, and small numbers of places Canada. But the slave owners all go compensation for the loss of their slave in the form of a government grant that was set at $20,000,000.

The building celebrated modern industrial technology and design with the major motivation for Britain to make clear to the world and its role and an industry leader. The palace would have 6 million visitors ( even Queen Victoria visited 3 times with her family).
