In 1809 the first eletric telegraph was invented. It was created by Samuel Soemmering. It was a faster use of ommunication. -
Sewing Machine Invented
The fisrt sewing machine was made in 1846 by Ellas Howe. Before the sewing machine, families made clothes by hand. This created the "mass-production" of clothes.

First Successful Transatlantic Cable
The transatlantic cable was attempted many times. Many inventors failed to complete communication across seas. Cyrus Field was the first man to successfully have contact with people on the other side of the ocean. -
