My younger sister Allison was born! Though i hated having a sister so close in age to me in school I am so glad i do have someone who will always be there for me now!

My baby brother,Ethan Hunter was born on this day. He was only with us for a short time, he passed away due to SIDS. I was only in third grade when this happen just 2 1/2 months later but he changed my entire family's life in so many ways!

I ran a stop sign and was trapped in my car for over and hour and a half. I was air lifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital. My left femur was broke and my knee was fractured. My right ankle was crushed. I had a small brain bleed,lacerated spleen, and a collapsed lung. I missed the last 4 months of my senior year and was put on home instruction.Also when i started thinking about being a teacher! i missed the kids i was working with and missed helping them,then they all sent me Get well cards!

With everything that happened to me this year, i think it was great accomplishment that I got to graduate with my classmates. Wheelchair and all ! :)

After not being able to got to college with my friends I finally got to start almost 2 years later! I was released from both my trauma and orthopedic doctor. Also when I decided to go into education.

In this class I hope to learn how to teach readers who may be struggling and make reading fun for them. I know after about 4-5 reading was not fun for me anymore. So that is something else I would like to accomplish, to keep these kids interested in reading and writing.
