    Get Educated

Having a good and solid goal for yourself it is important to do your research. Doing research allows you to get more insight on the goal you want to achieve and makes it so you know all of the information before you jump in. There a millions of people learning how to be doctors by learning about the human body. "You can’t expect to learn all there is to know about how the human body works" (Goal Setting Skills pg.9) but you should be familiar with what your goal is.

Monitoring your health goal is not that difficult. The most important part is to set a "suitable timeframe for action items and goal comple- tion is critical for achieving goal setting success" (Goal Setting Skills pg.9). Swimming

My dad wanted to learn how to swim and swim well, because he wanted a new exercise instead of running and lifting. He bought a bunch of equipment, and watched videos, and looked a ton of stuff up before he start to to anything. His timeline was to be able to be a good swimmer by our family vacation. He started taking classes 3 times a week and now he is a great swimmer. He swims now a part of his daily exercise. He is even thing about doing a tri-athalon.
