Implementation of NPDL

  • Meet with Ngaire

    Meet with Ngaire from Core to work out NPDL plan for the school

  • Introduce NPDL to Staff

    At staff meeting alongside Ngaire explain NPDL. Have staff collaborate on focus for Terms 1 and 2.

  • Set up a Google Drive Folder fro Staff to Access Resources

  • Meet at Bluestone

    Look at where we are in our journey. Work out how we will collaborate as two schools. Meet with Core Facilitator.

  • Create whiteboard in staffroom

    Create planning white board for each syndicate and for future NPDL focus. This will help all staff to get a better understanding of NPDL and allow all staff to add suggestions to each plan.

  • Introduce NPDL to BOT

  • Launch with Bluestone School

    Staff from both schools to get together and meet and socialise and design what are relationship will look like going forward.

  • Create Survey

    Create a survey using Survey Monkey, & by creating a paper copy and dropbox for those staff who aren't confident with Survey Monkey, to grasp how staff are feeling about NPDL.

  • Create Learning Survey for Students

    Create a survey using Survey Monkey for Senior Students to evaluate what they would to see happen in their learning. Any big questions they have?

  • Syndicates to Plan 1st NPDL Unit

    I'll let the Senior Syndicate in this.

  • Classes to begin NPDL Teaching & Learning Journey

  • Check In with whole Staff

    At Staff Meeting each teacher to share any questions/concerns/ success etc. Problem solve together as a staff. Where to from here?

  • Give the BOT an Update on NPDL

    Share what classes are doing and how teachers are going. Ask for any resources needed.

  • Launch NPDL to Parents

    This will be on The Week That Was Assembly Video and through each child's Seesaw page so parents can see why we're moving into this style of teaching and learning and why.
