I was born in 1800 on augest 17th. You may remember my birthday to be in the year the revolution of 1800 in whitch the federlists dominated gov. i remember my parents over ellis island and angel island. There ws always fighting in our house. Then one day we finally decided. -

we move to ellis island in 1800 augest 17th
My family dicided to move to elles island. To get to ellis island we had to take a boat to the island and many people got sick and threw up half of the time. -
In augest 24 we finally make it
When we got off the boat there were tons of peopel waiting to get in boys and girls were seperated. So that means I was with my dad and brother. When we all met up we had to go threw scanners. My dad had a lighter they took it away from my dad and broke it. i dont know why they would do that though -
a new life
when we exited the building we all saw a new life in front of us. The buildings were huge and i asked my dad how they got that high. Sence we lived in iraland we wernt used to big buildings. My dad said it happened from steel. There were many kids running around very happy. then a man walked up to us and said hope you brong enough money. We were confused for a while. -
disease
after about two years we have lived in poverty. We saw many people die. many kids some grown ups and we having trouble keeping away disease our self. my mom got sick. my brother got sick and died and my dad got cancer. we didnt have enough money for the medical bills. So i got a job. My mom dided so i payed for my self and my dad. The job was a construction worker. It went from there to being the boss and owning a cotten farm. I became very wealthy. -
i finally have enough
I had enough to get my dad out of the hospital and keep on pills. We had a mansion and we were very wealthy. We had slaves but we were very nice to them. We had them do the cotten and make it into clothes. we gave the slaves food and we had them buy our food for us. even though were irish doesnt mean that we cant be susseful.
