    Women started competing with men for jobs and also America was seen as one of the superpowers of the world. The other being the Soviet Union, this was due to a new found freedom in Asia and Africa and the decimation of Europe during the war. Letting the U.S step up. U.S experienced new social changes like civil rights, technological advances and overall lifestyle changes after WWII.

U.S fought for South Korea while North Korea had the help of China and the Soviet Union. Both countries suffered major losses ecspecially North Korea. This war also was a segway into the Cold War.

This was a change that was needed, many leaders like MLK Jr, Rosa Parks and Malcolm led this movement. I would also say this is a huge part of America's history for African Americans to reach freedom and equality even when it meant risking theor lives.

An estimated 34 million people have died from AIDS to the current day and many people still have it. When it was first discovered doctors werenn't sure what it was and had to multiple testings to find symptoms etc. The AIDS epidemic reached the U.S from Africa within 10 years and is one of the leading causes of death in many countries and continents , ecspecially Africa.

    Another Civil Rights Activist that led the movemnt was Rosa Parks. Who refused to move from her seat on a bus and give it up to a white man. Making her an international icon of defying racial segregation. She also helped take part in part and inspired the Montgomery Bus Boycott, which ende up being an effective way to protest

    The attacks of September 1st were the first terrorist attacks on U.S soil ever, this not only changed security checkpoints around the world but also started a worldwide manhunt for members of Al Quieda. Also led to major U.S intiaitives to combat terrorism and changed America forever.
